B. Proofreading, Editing, Translation, and Formatting Services Solutions

WeCWIIS offers editing, translation, proofreading, and thesis formatting services. These services are customised to meet the specific manuscript category, requested duration, and total word count. The manuscripts are classified into three categories as follows:

• A: General text (essays, stories, books, book chapters, and general documents)

• B: Academic and technical text (scientific papers, research articles, reports, theses, dissertations, and specialised documents)

• C: Promotional and publicity materials (flyers, pamphlets, brochures, banners, posters, website content, advertising copy, and publicity materials)

A proofreader corrects a text's grammar, spelling, punctuation, typo correction, and basic language accuracy. A minimum charge may apply for Category C. The proofreading fees are classified into three categories:

An editor corrects language, readability, flow, and structure. A minimum charge may apply for Category C. The editing fees are classified into three categories:

A translator translates English and Malay, English and Chinese, or vice versa, as the target language. Translation fees are calculated based on the source text. For Chinese texts, the fee will be calculated based on the number of Chinese characters. The translation fees are classified into three categories:

A formatting service includes in-text citations and references (excluding alignment), table of contents (thesis), page layout and numbering, headings and subheadings, and tables and figures. Page numbers will be assigned based on the final version after the formatting process is complete. Additional charges may apply for complex formatting, extensive reference correction, table and figure restructuring, urgent requests, or documents that do not follow the required template.

   1. Urgent cases incur a 50% surcharge within one week.

   2. Cases within three days incur a 100% surcharge.
