Microsoft Teams

When you get Office 365, which includes Microsoft Teams, a safe and secure remote learning environment is established for educators and students to connect and collaborate to build professional learning communities. Microsoft Teams simplifies class management for students to stay engaged while remote. It is a hub to connect with peers and lecturers, video chat, complete assignments, access apps, and much more in one highly secure location. For educators, it allows you to create classes and groups accessible from your favourite devices. You can easily collaborate in real-time without boundaries and worries about loss of data and formatting issues.


Getting Started Solutions

The good news is: Office 365 Education is now available for free! Educators and students from an academic institution can install the full Office applications on their Android, iOS or Windows devices with no extra cost. Among the useful services includes Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), OneDrive storage, Yammer, and Teams. You can make use of Office 365 Education as one hub for your complete educational experience as follows:

New Students

  1. Please click HERE.

  2. Sign in to your account.

    1. Login ID: username@student.uitm.edu.my

      1. Username by default: Student ID

      2. Example: 2017123456@student.uitm.edu.my

    2. Password:

      1. Self-created password

      2. Default password

        1. A combination of the first two letters of the student’s name (the first letter is uppercase) + ‘@’ + the last 6 digits of the student ID

        2. Example: Name: Muhammad Hijaz | Student ID: 2017123456 Password: Mu@123456

Current Students

2. E-attendance 2.0

E-attendance 2.0 is the next version of E-attendance built on Microsoft Form with enhanced design and all-in-one features. Users need to choose "Present" or "Absent (with reason)" and tick the ID with the name ONCE only. The attendance registration is INVALID if more than one entry is detected. E-attendance 2.0 will accept responses before the beginning of the lesson. Due to unexpected circumstances, E-attendance 2.0 is now limited for instructor access.
